Like many great stories, ours started with humble beginnings in the mountains of southern California. While working in the desert southwest, our founder, Adam, often sought refuge from the oppressive heat in the San Jacinto mountains. It was there he discovered and fell in love with the community of Idyllwild, and it was there he learned how to roast coffee. Adam found himself returning to Idyllwild on numerous occasions to play, reflect, plan his outdoor expeditions, and enjoy great coffee.
Years later, Adam founded Idyllwild Coffee Company to share his love of premium gourmet coffee, the latest roasting and brewing techniques, and the great outdoors. Today, Adam serves as our Chief of Product.
Idyllwild Coffee Company sources premium coffee beans from family-owned farms in Honduras and roasts it in the Appalachian foothills of NW Georgia.
Our farms are certified USDA organic, Fair Trade TSA, Con Manos De Mujer, and Shade Grown Bird Friendly. Our farms do not use pesticides in their farming practices.
